Useful Tools (double meaning intended)

Although I have an aversion to "cutesy" or comic methods of choosing the Leader of the Free World, there are some tools that might help you figure out who to vote for, or at least help you form a more rounded opinion of one or the other. I find it interesting that anyone could be on the fence at this point, as the candidates are so very different, but was also surprised at how cloudy my brain can get in remembering who said what. I want to vote FOR someone, not AGAINST someone, personally, so I've made a concentrated effort to know what I can about each one, based on more than what they say to the camera.

Saddleback Civil Forum
On August 16, pastor and author Rick Warren hosted presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain at his Southern California megachurch for the Saddleback Civil Forum. (I'll be honest - watching this decided it for me.)

Anne Kilkenny's email and the Anchorage Daily News article.

Yeah, yeah. I'm clearly biased. Start your own blog! ;)

PS - If you have other sites/tools to add, please let me know. I'd be happy to start a list here - both sides, even!
