Houseification

They accepted our offer! Hot dog!

But here's the thing: It's not our house yet. It's not like when you rent a place and pay a bunch of money up front, and sign a bunch of papers and move in 5 days later. Oh no. It's not yours until you walk in on Day 1 with a box of your stuff and set it down. They/we could back out at any time for any reason. Yeah, there's a point at which backing out would seriously complicate things, but it's still possible. So I find that a little frustrating.

Today we meet Inspector Gadget (yes, I intend to call him this at every [in]opportune moment because I'm certain he'll find it HYSTERICAL) at The House That Is Not Ours Yet to find all the things that are wrong with it. Please, God, let him only find small things that are easily fixed. The thought of hitting the streets again in search of a different house makes me want to crawl in a hole.
