I feel like I just had a baby. I "launched" my new website last night. Why do people say "launched" when they put a new site online? Mine was more like child bearing: conceived in a moment of inspiration, grown and planned for and fretted over day and night for months, then it slowly made its way into world with all kinds of and gunk that had to be cleaned up before it was appropriate for public exposure. And after all that, she's still going to hate me when she's 14. Ah, but the joy that comes after...
