Oh, Baby!

Dear Child,

I am SO grateful that you're growing. Right now, your brain is developing, and your body is small and wrinkly. Time to fatten up! And when you're done with all that, we'll get to meet you. I can't wait.

We got your bedding yesterday. Daddy likes it (so do I!). :) I hope you like airplanes! It's super soft, which made me wonder if you're going to have my tactile senses -- I love soft fabrics, a trait I think came from Grandma Ann. I hope you like them, too, because oh my, that bedding is luscious!

Now, one order of business. I am, again, grateful that you're growing. I'm also growing very suspicious of your future aspirations. I'm guessing they include soccer, kickboxing, football, and swimming. I'll need to teach you discipline and time management (on second thought, I'll let your Daddy teach you those). However, Child, there will be plenty of time out here in the air to develop any muscles you need to pursue those endeavors. I applaud your planning ahead! But you can wait, my darling. Besides, you're making me nauseous. If I promise to teach you to kick a ball, will you stop kicking me please?

Warmly,
Mom
